School furniture manufactured using Formica-finished MDF, melamine, and metal elements. Arches with LED lighting, storage solutions, book racks, and themed details in red and blue. Manufactured by SICROL.

This school furniture project combines materials, color, and functionality to create spaces designed to support learning and the students’ everyday experience. The furniture was primarily manufactured using MDF finished with Formica or decorative laminate, incorporating different colors and finishes according to the requirements of each space. This solution made it possible to create large-format elements and custom shapes while maintaining a cohesive visual identity throughout the project. One of the key features is the series of arches with integrated LED lighting, which incorporate niches and storage spaces, combining functionality with a distinctive visual element. The project also includes themed features, such as a niche inspired by a fire station, manufactured from finished MDF and complemented by a 2-inch round tubular profile, used to recreate the characteristic fire pole found in this type of facility. The project also included approximately 8-meter-long closets and storage units, manufactured with white melamine interiors and single-sided white melamine doors, finished with Formica or decorative laminate in red and blue tones. As part of the equipment, metal shelves and book racks with a powder-coated finish were also incorporated into the furniture, helping to improve the organization and functionality of the spaces. The circular elements representing trees were manufactured from MDF and finished with water-based enamel paint, adding variety in texture and finishes to the overall design.
