GAES project where lacquered MDF, Formica, melamine, metal, wood, and 3D printing are combined with warm LED lighting to create a modern, functional space with a distinctive identity. Fabrication & Installation: SICROL.
For this GAES project, the furniture fabrication was developed through a combination of materials, textures, and finishes that create a modern, functional space with its own distinctive identity. The proposal incorporates lacquered MDF, Formica, melamine, metal elements, and 3D-printed components, complemented by warm LED lighting. This variety of materials creates contrasts and highlights different elements of the furniture while maintaining a cohesive composition with the surrounding space. The project includes custom-made furniture and wall coverings, along with wood finishes and solutions specifically manufactured to integrate with the characteristics of the space. Each element was developed considering both its function and its relationship with the overall design, making efficient use of the available space while maintaining a consistent visual language. One of the key features is the incorporation of 3D-printed elements, integrated into the furniture to add a distinctive and innovative component to the proposal. The warm LED lighting complements the different materials and adds depth to the space, highlighting surfaces, volumes, and furniture details. At SICROL, we are responsible for transforming the proposal into a real space, taking part in the different stages of the project, from planning and fabrication to final installation. The result is a collection of custom-made elements in which materials and construction solutions come together to meet the specific needs of the space. At SICROL, We Build Your Idea.
